Subject: Max Goes To Perth

Dear Alex,

My name is Mrs. Ricard, and I am a Sparks leader (which is the same as the Gumnuts Guiding group in Australia) in Canada. I live just north of Edmonton, Alberta.

I have been writting to a Gumnut leader that lives just outside of Perth. At our next meeting we are going to talk to the Sparks about Australia, and I was looking for a story to tell them. This story will be very exciting for our Sparks (they are girls, ages 5 & 6, especially because it was written by such a smart 5 year old. They will also love your pictures.

Keep up the good work!

If you would like any ideas about writting an adventure in Canada, you are welcome to write. I have very creative 9 year old and 5 year daughters who would love to help.

Happy Holidays!

Hi, my name is Debi aka Moonie aka Marley@dcsi.net. My daughter, Danielle is 13, and is 3600 miles away from me this Christmas. I am creating Christmas book for her. I decided that since we can't be together this Christmas, I would try to bring Christmas to her from me, and also to let her know I love her. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to send me the entire story so that I could incorporate it into the book I am going to be sending to her. I will give you full credit. I am just trying to come up with ways to help her have a happy Christmas as I can't afford much this year. Things have been tough. Please let me know ifyou can send it to me as an attachment.

Thank you for your time,
Sincerely,
Debi Kraeuter Moonie

Max's New Adventures:

Max meets a tree kangaroo.
When Max climbs up the tree to meet his Mummy, he sees a strange creature that does not look like his Mummy or like him. Its ears are not as bushy, it has a brown and white coat, and a long brown and white tail. It has a nice brown face, and it smiles at Max.
