Dear Alex,

This is my second letter to you. Mum thinks my first letter got "lost" because we can't get into my first email address "emcoffey@cybergal.com". This is my second email letter ever, and Ihope you can reply. I really like your stories. I like koalas too and I have written a story about them called "Koalas Holiday". I always enjoy looking out for your next story.

Love Emilie

ps. I am 6 years old.

Dear Alex (little cutie! heeh),

Hi, I am a 13 year old girl from Perth, Western Australia! And I absolutly LURVE your homepage and the stories that you and Max share!!

Anyway, How are you? I"m fine! At the moment I'm taking a well deserved "time out' from my studies! phew year 9 sure is hard. Well, I think that you are going to grow up and be the best writer and illustrator Australia and the World has ever seen! (Well your Dad can write the stories, for now *wink*) I write stories too. In fact, I entered one of my short stories into the competition "Nestle Write Around Australia" and I made the finals, which was pretty good.

But I thin that you can be even better! heheh! I would LOVE to be your e-pal (the same as a pen-pal, but instead of letters in the post, you send letters in e-mail style on the net!) if you how time of coarse! you can write to me at:

kails@hotmail.com I would really like to hear from you!
Keep up the great drawings!!
Luv Ya

Hi Alex:

Or should I say G'Day? I found your site while surfing the web looking for information on Australia. I hope to have the pleasure of seeing your beautiful country this summer. I have a web site too at: http://www.overthemoonjewelry.com But since it's a jewelry site - making jewelry is a hobby/business of mine - I doubt if you're interested. I hope to see some live koalas soon. Congrats on your fabulous site!

You can email me back if you wish at: rf@overthemoonjewelry.com G'Day! Rhona

Hi!

My name is Matthew Burgess and I am six years old. I live in Fall River, Nova Scotia, Canada. That's a long way from your house! I really liked your story. This is the first time I have heard your stories. I picked the story about the fire because just after Christmas and the day before my birthday, our house caught on fire. We lived with my Nanny and Grampy for three months until they rebuilt our house. The fire burned my favourite toy - my trampoline! Thank you for writing stories for boys and girls like me to read. I will make sure I read more of your stories and maybe I will write to you again.

Hi, Alex.....Oh, maybe you can e-mail me back at Shoshana7@collegeclub.com to let me know if you get these. I have to use school computers, and our e-mail is down for a while. Oh an idea for your stories, perhaps they could indicate what age children might be able to read them. (Because, Alex, some of the words you can say and understand can't necessarily be read by beginning readers. I will see if some of our children want to send you ideas.

Oh, how often to you add to the stories?
