Hello Alex and Max,

Imagine my surprise to find your website!!!

I have loved koalas since I was about 11 years old (so, about 20 years now!). About five years ago, I received a toy stuffed koala as a gift...one to add to my already-large collection! This one, though, was special, and I named him Max.

When I joined America Online a couple of years later, I came up with this screen name. It is such a coincidence, and very touching, to realize a little boy so far away came up with the same name for his koala!

I suppose the world isn't so big after all, especially with the internet to help and encourage us to communicate.

I've enclosed a photo of myself (holding my cousin's baby) so you can see who else thought of 'maxkoala'!
