Subject: Hi from Holden

Hi Alex,

I am 5 years old too. My adopted Grandpa who lives just up the hill from me in Colfax, California, is from Australia. He has lived here with Grandma for six years now since they were married.

One day I am going back to Australia with him for a visit. Where is Wivenhoe Dam? My Grandpa knows a lot of Australia but he doesn't know where this is.

We like your stories about Max. Some times my mommy says I even sound like Grandpa because I love him and spend a lot of time at his house.

G'Day,
Holden Klar

hello Max!!!

I have another idea for your story, it's called Max and the Wish Waterfall.

I have another idea for your story. It's called Max in Outer Space.

Max and the Wish Waterfall.

Max wishes for something and it doesn't come true. Platty tells him about the wish waterfall and he gets the wish. He wishes again at the wish waterfall and gets the wish. Max wishes for a Koala circus.

Max in Outer Space

Max goes to space in a rocket. He meets a friendly alien. The alien comes down to earth to meet all Max's friends. He was invited to Max's house for dinner. They had gumnut soup. The alien got a tummy ache. He went back to space.

Love,

Dear Alex,

I really liked your Koala Trouble! I'm a big fan now! My favourite story was "Max visits Sydney". What about a story where Max goes to the football? Max could barrack for the Brisbane Lions!

Once again, Ireally liked Koala Trouble. I'm sure I'll visit again soon!

Bye,

Hi Alex.

This is Dennis's sister, Amy. I have a new idea for Max's adventure. I think Max should go to school or the aquarium. Platy could go along.

I hope these ideas will help you in making a new adventure for Max.

Dear Alex,

I think you write very well and your Mum and Dad must be very proud of you. I am going to show my college class some of your web site in my project on literacy in early childhood education, (helping to teach young children to read and write).

I live in Ottawa, Canada and have 2 children of my own, Megan 12 years old and Kelsey 10 years old.

My family would very much like to visit Austrailia in the future but now we are happy learning about your country from excellent web sites such as yours. I am a teaching assistant and my husband is a police officer.

Thank you for sharing your super stories.

Sincerely, Sandi Davidson
