Its one of the best uses of this technology I have seen for a while.
Kind regards,

Date: Sat, 20 Jan 96 12:23:58 -800IS THERE ONE AMONG US WHO DOESN'T LOVE THE KOALA? AS A CHILD IN TEXAS I DREAMED OF OWNING A KOALA. SINCE THAT TIME IT HAS BEEN THE FOUNDATION FOR TRUST THAT I HAVE LIVED WITH. YOU MAY FIND IT AMUSING THAT I WAS JUST SITTIG HERE BROWSING AND CAME ACROSS YOUR STORY. AS MOTHER NATURE DICTATED MY TWO PRECIOUS GRANDSONS ARE DUE ANY MINUTE. CHRISTOPHER IS FIVE AND JOSEPH IS 18 MONTHS OLD. I HAD JUST INSTALLED THE KIDS PHONICS FOR CHRISTOPHER. ON THE WAY HOME FROM THE STORE PURCHASING THE PROGRAM HE SAID THAT HE WANTED TO HURRY HOME TO DO "PHONICS" SO THAT HE COULD READ A STORY TO JOSEPH TONIGHT. HE IS AN AVID READER. I HAVE JUST RECENTLY GRADUATED FROM A CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY WITH STUDIES IN THEOLOGY AND DIVINITY. CHRISTOPHER EVEN ATTEMPTS TO READ THOSE BOOKS AND DOES QUITE WELL IN FACT. MY HUSBAND AND HIS GRANDFATHER DIED LAST YEAR AND CHRISTOPHER READS TO HIS "OPA", GERMAN FOR GRANDFATHER. BEST WISHES TO YOU AND AN ENORMOUS THANK YOU FROM ME, CHRISTOPER, JOSEPH, AND "O! PA" OUR ANGEL.

Hi!
Our names are Larry Jacobsen (dad), Bryce Jacobsen (14 & in 8th
grade) and Ryan Jacobsen (12 and in 6th grades).
We are homeschooling this year, and have been searching out sites on the WEB. We are highly interested in people who work in interesting and remote places.
We live in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a sparsely populated state (less than 1/2 million people) in Western United States.
We read your book and enjoyed it...could you send us a note too?
Where do you live and all that stuff...
Thanks...

Alex,
You are a wonderful story teller. I think you will go far in the
publishing business! Good luck.

We liked your story very much!
It was fun looking at it - and I liked your Koala bears!
I hope you make more stories on the Internet too.
You gave us a good idea about homepages - so our Dad is going to make us one too!

Date: Sat, 20 Jan 1996 22:38:40 -0800Hello! My name is Noel Spears and your Koala trouble stories are the most original and creative site I've seen on the web for quite a while. I am a student teacher in Knoxville, Tennessee USA and can't wait to show my classmates your work. Your Dad derves a pat on the back too. :-D
Did you draw the pictures on your computer, or were they made on
paper and then scanned into the computer?
(NOTE: ALEX DREW THE PICTURES WHICH WERE THEN SCANNED AND THEN "FILLED" WITH COLOUR BY ALEX USING ANIMATOR PRO.)
It is very cold here now. Wish we had some of your warm weather!

Dear Alex,
The boys saw your adorable story and went NUTS, especially Baby Joey; aka
Joseph. Christopher was so delighted, I don't think that he has ever read
anything before that was INTERACTIVE. Please share more with me the story
of your mental process in dreaming up these wonderful ideas. I suppose I was
born to be an elementary school teacher but wound up as a nurse until I
fractured my spine and now I'm attempting to launch a 4th career in ministery.
I take great pride in knowing that with all the obscenities in this network,
you have presented something for the whole family and especially our LITTLE
GUYS.
God Bless You All,
Cyndy

Dear Alex,
I liked your short story about max and the joey. The
illustrations were very nice, too. I sometimes do art for my stories in
first grade. Would you like to be keypals with me? My mom showed me
where Australia and New Zealand are on the map. I live in Rochester, New
York, on Lake Ontario, near the border to Canada (Niagara Falls).
