Dear Alex,

We are your friends in Ashland, Oregon and we really liked your story about the race between Max and Platty. We chose Platty to win. Now we are going to see what happens when Max wins. And we really liked your drawings. Would you write more stories for us to read? We had some ideas. How about if Max gets lost some time and ends up at a soccer field and ends up watching a game. Does Max celebrate Earth Day on April 22? How about if Max does an Earth Day cleanup?

Looking forward to more,

Love,
Emma, Larkin, Nora, Drew , Lisa, Matthew, Sam, Buddy, Logan, Marley, Joe, Chris, Summer, Tess, Elias (Its his Birthday today), Simon, Colin, Kyra, Caitlin, Sache, Jono, David, and Judith Anne.

I liked the Max loses his mommy story. It was too short. Why was that that his mommy didn't see him on the grass.

Hello Alex!

My name is Helene and I live in Sweden. I read an article about you and your stories in a newspaper and then I looked the stories up myself. I really like your stories, since they are exciting and have very nice pictures.

I would like to read a story about when Max meets a bird who tries to teach him to fly, or about a turtle that helps Max get something from an island. I am 28 years old and like you I made stories when I was a child. But without a computer, because they weren´t available then. When I get kids I hope they will write stories too!

Good luck with your writing and best wishes
Helene Oscarsson.

Hello.

I really enjoyed your stories. Why don't you make Max fall out of his tree so he has to go to hospital? And why don't you introduce some more caracters like an echidna or a dingo?
But like I said before the stories are really good and so are the pictures.

From Me

Dear Alex (and Dad)

I live in the United States where the cowboys and Indians live. I have never been to your country, but I like reading stories from there. I like your stories the best.

Could you tell me a story about Kangaroos? We don't have those here. We have coyotes and roadrunners.

I hope you have the time to tell me another story.

Thank you for being a good writer and a good drawer.
